The Business Hotel is one of such places where people proceed with their work, on-line meetings, and preparation for a new business opportunity in the city.

However, those activities has been confined in tiny guest rooms in business hotels in Tokyo. We propose to release them and create a new kind of working environment with full of opportunity and communication.

‘Bed & Business Tokyo’ consists of minimum bedrooms and one big business space directly connected from those bedrooms on every floors. 
The business space is running through the entire building three-dimensionally and contains different kinds of space for specific working conditions.

The space is open not only to the hotel guests but also to temporary users like local teleworker, which leads to chance encounter between visitors and local business person.

‘Bed & Business Tokyo’ is a proposal of a new building type for the teleworking age.

その変化の一方で、小さな客室で窮屈にせざるを得ないままとなっている仕事や活動。

それらを解放し、快適でコミュニケーションに満ちた新しい仕事場を考える。
 

最小限の「客室」と、その客室を一歩出ると広がる広大な「ビジネススペース」から成る新しいホテルを提案する。
様々な性質の仕事空間が建物全体をひとつながりに連続するビジネススペースは、ノマドワーカーや週末起業家などの一時利用も受け入れる。遠方からのビジネスマンと地元ワーカーの出会いを誘発する。
